Bio

Jacinto Carrasco-Muñoz was born in Madrid, 1975.
Since early childhood he demonstrated natural ability for painting and great interest in other forms of art (sculpture, music, architecture). With support from his parents and school teachers, he gained exposure to Spanish art, as well as to the major art movements, which became a great source of education and inspiration, and imprinted a humanistic perspective approach to his life.
In 2002 he graduated as a Mechanical Engineer at the Open University (UNED) in Madrid, and over a period of almost five years he worked as a structural engineer in various sectors, i.e. software development, civil, aerospace.
In 2006 he moved to the UK, where he has lived since, enjoying his passion for the automotive industry and gaining an international career in the sector. He has also successfully completed three postgraduate degrees, including an MSc and a PhD in Engineering from Cranfield University and an MBA from the University of Warwick.
In 2009 he bought his first photographic camera.
